How to Delete Your Account
You can delete your Box479 account using either of these methods:
Method 1: In-App Deletion (Immediate)
- Open the Box479 mobile app
- Go to your Profile/Settings section
- Select "Delete Account"
- Confirm your deletion request
- Your account will be deleted immediately
Method 2: Email Request (Manual Processing)
- Send an email to admin@box479.com
- Include "Delete My Account" in the subject line
- Include your registered email address in the message
- We will confirm receipt and process your request within 48 hours
- Your account will be permanently deleted within 30 days
Important: For email requests, the email address you send from must match your registered Box479 account email address for security purposes.
Email Confirmations (For Email Requests Only)
If you request deletion via email, you will receive confirmations at your registered address:
- Within 48 hours: Confirmation that deletion process has started
- Within 30 days: Final confirmation that deletion has been completed
Note: In-app deletions are processed immediately and do not require email confirmations.
What Gets Deleted
All personal data including:
- User profile and contact information
- Job creation history and assignments
- Team directory access and associations
- All authentication data
- Any app preferences and settings
Data Retention Policy
- In-app deletion: Account and data deleted immediately
- Email deletion: Account access deactivated within 48 hours, data permanently deleted within 30 days
- Legal requirements: Some data may be retained longer if required by law
